Chelone obliqua (Rose Turtlehead)

Dense spikes of rose-red flowers bloom in late summer and early fall. Butterflies are attracted to the nectar. The deep green, glossy foliage is handsome all season long. Rose Turtlehead grows best in full sun and moist soil and is a great choice for the edge of water gardens.
