Meadow Phlox
This Meadow Phlox blooms earlier than Tall Phlox (Phlox paniculata) with mauve-pink flower heads on top of stems with thick, glossy leaves. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The stems sometimes have a red mottling and are somewhat hairy.
